Young and in Love

It’s agreed, then, that the Young Gunners will need to coalesce and put the ball in the onion bag a few more times this season than last. And the club can no longer wait for an injured Thierry Henry to jump back in the lineup and produce. It’s my understanding that he left for another club. I’ll look into that and get back with you.
Striker Robin van Persie seems set to let some of the burden fall onto his own shoulders. The young Dutchman, who in fact scored against Inter Milan during the recent Emirates Cup preseason tournament, also thinks that the Gunners’ youth will not negatively affect the club’s chances of hanging with the other big three this season.
“Football is not about age. It is not about money. It is not about those things. Football is about if you want to run for each other, if you want to fight for each other, if you want to really play some ball.
We are young. So what? Age does not matter. It is about the way we play football and the way we like to play together.
I started pre-season training on June 18 and I am with these boys every day, I see their ability.
Yes they are young and young people make mistakes, but that does not really matter - like in love, age does not matter.”
Evidently, that’s how van Persie rolls; which is good news for all you cougars out there.

Young and in love? how cute. the picture went along with the story also. haha. but no joke, i’m happy with his attitude. age doesn’t matter, his influence and spirit is something we will need this year.
