Beckham to Arsenal?!

It’s totally true! Sort of! The Sunday Mirror is reporting that David Beckham may be training with Arsenal this winter after his season with the LA Galaxy comes to a merciful close.
You’ll recall that Becks has had an injury-riddled debut with the MLS club, although in fairness he was pretty effective when he was up and at ‘em.
The Beckhams still have digs near Arsenal’s training ground, of course, so I’m sure they like to be back in London if possible.
No word on whether Tom Cruise will grant permission for the winter-time move. Also no word on whether many Angelenos winter in London.
Anyway, Arsenal don’t need anymore help in midfield this season. And I for one hope that Becks still has a few productive years with the Galaxy in his future.
Good for American football and all.
