Michael Owen to the Arsenal? Come On, Now
By: Trent | May 22nd, 2007
Not sure if I believe this one. Not sure I’m interested in seeing it happen. For starters, Michael Owen will probably have broken his leg twice while I’m typing this post.
But I have a duty to pass along unsubstantiated rumours, so here you go: Michael Owen to replace the unhappy Thierry Henry this summer at Ashburton Grove.
That’s not the only place the rumour can be found; and I think it all originated here.
So, whether TH14 stays or not, what say you: yea or nay to Owen in North London?

Thierry isn’t leaving (unless Arsene does). Arsene isn’t leaving! (not until his contract ends anyway). Still unconvinced that Arsene is really interested in Owen at all but if he is…mixed feelings mostly. True he’s always injured BUT he did receive the total treatment (including major surgery) from the same doctor in Colorado who’s rate of complete recovery is unparalleled in sports medicine. His celebrity sports patients go on to have successful, consistent careers with no lapses. That’s the only hope I have of Owen’s future fitness. It would certainly shut up a lot of folks who falsely claim that Arsenal has no English players.

All a bit academic now. Replace a crystal vase with a cracked plastic beaker? Just do whatever it takes to stop Wenger going too.

Too late now. Replace a crystal vase with a cracked plastic beaker? No way. Just do whatever it takes to stop Wenger going too.
