Welcome Lassana Diarra

By: Trent | August 31st, 2007

ld.jpgAt the death of the transfer period, Arsenal have signed Lassana Diarra, late of Chelsea. Before he was a Blue, Diarra played for Le Havre of the French second division.

The 22-year-old seems comfortable playing both defending midfielder as well as defender.

And it’s weird to see Arsene Wenger put his faith in a young Frenchman like Diarra. We haven’t seen that sort of gesture…well…since Gallas was named Captain. Okay, so we see it all the time.

After the jump, Diarra mugs with some of his c*nts mates at Chelsea.

Great pickup, it’s too bad we’ll never get quality players like that from you guys, Chelsea, and the Mancs.

Last year Gallas, this year Diarra, will Arsenal make a tradition out of this?

By the way, vote for Arsenal in the Virtual Soccer League
